Hi Cult, happy Monday.

This time last week, I was sitting in the Lighthouse room on Chelsea Piers eating a Tate’s micro cookie and clutching my Smythson in the last row of David Ghiyam’s kabbalah seminar. If you remember my NYFW letter about the magic of staying at Fouquets, I mentioned how brunch became a revolving door for friends and connection and that is when David invited me to join his NYC event on the 21st, and I’m very glad I did.

I always toggle back and forth with how much or little I want to share about my personal life on here, and how much or little you care. I suppose the latter is up to you.

For one thing, I am a very spiritual person – I read all the books, I go to all the things. Once in a while when I share a Gabby Bernstein quote or a prayer from A Return to Love on Instagram, it’s always a pleasant surprise when you say something like – “needed this” or “what book is this from?” I guess I didn’t realize how many of us are investing in ourselves in secret, as if coming right out with it will make us less valuable in business, or worse – judged by strangers and our peers on the internet ;)

Yes, this is a personal publication about how to land your dream job in the magazine industry from someone who’s done it and loves it – but this newsletter is also here to unlock the self limiting beliefs that are holding you back from landing your dream life in its entirety, and your career is just one factor in that.

So, here I go – risking it all (re: what you think of me lol) to share what hundreds of people paid upwards of $799 a seat to learn last weekend from spiritual teacher and co-founder of MaryRuth’s Organics, David Ghiyam. It’s time to lock in.

Shall we?
